The Aldershot Farnham & District athlete is one of Britain’s brightest young talents winning three individual medals at the European Cross Country Championships, helping Britain to the team title on each occasion. After winning bronze in 2007, silver in 2008, Purdue finally won the title in 2010.

She says that her family and friends are her biggest influences. Outside of athletics she has achieved a grade five in Ballet.
