Talented young sprinter, James took nearly a third of a second off his 100m PB in 2007. He enjoys playing football and also playing the drums.

He missed most of the 2009 season after pulling up injured at the ISTAF meeting in Berlin after a very promising start to the year which resulted in a massive pb of 10.09 in Geneva. 2010 also started off promisingly with a windy 10.06 performance at Loughborough before finishing second at the Aviva European Championships and third in his semi-final in Barcelona. Injury put a halt to the remainder of his season but he will be looking for much bigger things in 2011.
