Sammi is an extremely promising young Scottish athlete who first began wheelchair racing in 2012. In 2016 Sammi set new European T53 records in 100m, 200m, 400m and 800m in Switzerland and set a new 800m record the next week in the USA. Sammi broke the 800m again in Rio in September and is now the fastest ever British female wheelchair racer over 100m, 200m, 400m and 800m. Sammi has started 2017 by breaking the T53 200m World record and European records over 100m, 400m and 800m.
