The former British record holder for the 3000m steeplechase was unlucky not to make the final at the World Championships, missing out by the narrowest of margins. Hatti was selected for the 2008 Olympic Games, but the Hallamshire Harrier was forced to withdraw with a stress fracture.

She was Britain’s top counter at the 2007 World Cross Country Championships and 2008 European Cross Country Championships and has continued this great cross country form, winning the 2009 National by 12 seconds.

2010 saw a massive breakthrough with a fourth place at the European Championships with a 9:30.19 clocking which saw her challenging for a medal. In 2011 after 2nd places in both the National and Inter-Counties XC Championships she finished off the winter season with an excellent 21st place in the World XC Championships.
