Started running for Chelmsford AC around 1999 after doing a Mid Essex Schools cross-country and finishing 3rd. Competed in both X-country and track until 2005, achieving: - 2:00.9 in the 800m - 4:12 in the 1500 (in the Essex schools) - Representing Essex in U17 and U23 age groups in the Nationals and Southerns - Placing 3rd in the U20 Essex X-country champs - Placing 3rd in the Essex Schools 800m Then after going to University in York, took up football and sustained minor injuries (ankle and tight hamstrings) that lasted (thanks to not taking any precautions) until late 2009. Managed to get back to 2:03 fitness in the 800m during Uni but then fell back into laziness and not running until post graduation. Now running back for Chelmsford AC again since February 2010, has managed a 2:04.8 in the 800m and is looking injury free for now (touch wood)
